The gorgeous little faces that greet me when it's over. Now I'll be honest they don't always wake up all smiles, but they did yesterday. How lucky am I. (PS. I know there is no pic of L - he was still sleeping).

CHALK

The 100 degree heat has quickly returned to the Washington norm and summer has once again become sweatshirt weather. What I love about my kids, they love to wear flip flops -like their parents- all year long (they must have some of our California blood after all). Today we went for a mile long walk and came home and drew with the sidewalk chalk. Oh how I love living the simple life. :)

An update on family status. We move in 3 1/2 weeks. Jeff will go to Officer Training School (OTS) and then we are going to be stationed at Schriever AFB in Colorado. Yay! We are so excited to be going to Colorado Springs. We will all move there together the first week of January. During the time Jeff's at OTS the kids and I will be in California and my parents house.

Today's Adventure

Today we attempted to take the kids for a bike ride to the park. Unfortunately as soon as we arrived J had to potty so we had to turn around and head right back home. It was fun regardless of the time actually spent at the park. The weather here was beautiful today. The last few weeks we have had highs up into the 100's but today was a cool 77 degrees. PRAISE GOD!

We have been meaning to take a picture of this tree stump. Jeff was impressed that it naturally looked like a heart.

PS. Those goofy faces were the most cooperation I could get from my munchkins today. Those stinkers.
